Birthday: Sept. 23rd; 18 years old
Transfer student to Dice North; senior year.
5' 8 1/2"
Personality
Lawrence is the type of kid who grew up expecting greatness from his life and choking it out of life if he didn't get it as planned. As a child he was the type to throw temper tantrums when he didn't get what he wanted, but nowadays he's more likely to grit his teeth and start plotting how to undermine and destroy the people he blames for it. (Tantrums are unbecoming of a young man of his stature.)
He's learned the best way to be intimidating is actually a calm demeanor and a cold smile, and it's a strategy that he employs quite often.
If you take Mordecai from Lackadaisy Cats, Giles from Buffy: The Vampire Slayer and cross him with Randall from Recess and Draco Malfoy in his first couple years at Hogwarts, you'll get something pretty close.
Academically
He would like to major in something relating to business or law in college, though he is also thoroughly interested in economics and computer programming. Perhaps a minor. For now though, he's enrolled in whatever high level math courses are available, as well as any management and philosophy courses he can find.
He thinks that math is elegant, though more application-wise; things like calculus and programming as opposed to finances.
Speaks English, German, French and studied Latin.
Socially
I'm not sure he actually has anyone that really counts as a friend. Which is actually really sad, but also he doesn't really notice? Any conversation he carries out is going to be about business, or school.
Unless it's about horses. He is unapologetically into talking about horses and all things equestrian.
Privately
He's actually kind of whiney when he's not around anyone in positions of power or authority. The kid wouldn't know what "class privilege" means if it bit him in the face.
Interests
While he doesn't have the most bustling social life, it's not like he spends his free time idling about. He's taken fencing and piano lessons since he was about six, and reads philosophy sometimes. He also enjoys theater, ballet, opera and symphonies and attends them all fairly regularly (not like he can't afford it). Appreciates cubism, modern art, fractals and the works of MC Escher. He also dabbles quite a bit in classical mythology, though you wouldn't call it a passion or a hobby.
Secrets
Ayyy, special information, what up.
Okay, so he thinks that punk subculture is really cool, especially the fashion, and that tattoos should be considered one of the highest forms of art in existence (he'd totally get them all over if they weren't so frowned upon in his social circle (and by social, I mean family/business/expected social circles)). He cries toward the end when watching ballets and operas, physical intimacy makes him extraordinarily uncomfortable, and cannot hold his liquor for shit.
Family
His parents are divorced and his mother is almost entirely absent from his life, beyond holiday gifts and the occasional card. As for his father, think 'Malfoy while at school'-esque, with some touches of Rose Lalonde's stance toward her mother.
He has no siblings, no cousins (that he knows about) and very little contact with any other extended family.
He does however, have several pets:
Pets
Lawrence has a white-haired, blue-eyed Turkish Angora cat named Duchess that he's quite fond of and spoils rather often. She's not fond of people in general, unless they bribe her for affection with treats, in which case she's a perfect little lady. His mother also left behind a Ragdoll cat named Mooch who is overly affectionate toward Lawrence (often at the most inconvenient times, such as right after a shower or while he's trying to do his homework), who he cannot stand.
The Levvys are quite fond of and involved with horses, and Lawrence has three of them for his own personal use:
- Witching Hour, a black Zweibrücker mare mainly used for dressage/show jumping
- West Coast Smoke, dark bay Trakehner stallion used for dressage
- Sundance, light chestnut thoroughbred gelding for polo (technically his father's, though Lawrence plays more often)
